What can I expect as a new patient at Renton Family Dentistry?
During your first visit to Renton Family Dentistry, you will receive a one-on-one consultation with Dr. Im to discuss your concerns and goals for your smile. She will perform a thorough exam considering your motivations, aesthetic form and optimal function, to help us identify any weakening or damaged sectors and restore long-lasting balance to your smile. We will go a step further by making sure we have explained everything in a simple and visual manner to help you make an educated decision regarding the course of your care.
Will I need to work with other doctors to get the results I want?
We offer all dental services under one roof, so most probably you will not need to work with other doctors. However, in some special cases, we may need to refer you to other dental professionals (for example, orthodontist), if we evaluate that this will enhance your treatment. Dr. Im will discuss these options with you during your consultation.
What are my patient options?
We offer competitive pricing and affordable rates for all of our treatments so that the cost of getting the treatment you need doesn’t hold you back. In addition, we accept most insurance plans, we work with care credit, and we accept major credit cards. We also accept cash payments and offer special discounts for patients without insurance.
How long will my dental treatment take?
The length of your dental treatment will depend on several factors, including the current state of your oral health, medical history, any underlying oral health problems, and your schedule. We will put together a proposed schedule of treatments when we create your treatment plan so you will have a fair idea of how many visits you will need to accommodate for, and how long it will take for you to get the results you want.
Will my treatment hurt?
Every patient has a different pain threshold when it comes to undergoing dental procedures and getting dental treatment. We work hard to minimize or eliminate patient discomfort and pain whenever possible. If you are concerned about the pain factor, talk to Dr. Im about sedation dentistry services.
